Robert Gould Shaw House Collection
The Robert Gould Shaw House was established in 1908 as a settlement house and community center in Lower Roxbury, Massachusetts. The Shaw House provided invaluable educational and recreational opportunities for its members, and this collection includes the fortieth and fiftieth anniversary programs, which document the organization's history and landmark achievements. The Robert Gould Shaw House also managed the Breezy Meadows Camp in Holliston, Massachusetts; the camp offered underprivileged youth from the Greater Boston area to attend summer camp for two weeks during the summer.
